Maunawili Falls Hike

The girls and I hiked Maunawili Falls with some of our best hiking buddies, Cheryl and Kelli. I will miss the beauty of Hawaii and our fun hikes! I will especially miss Cheryl and Kelli and the Lighthouse!





We are leaving for the mainland on Monday (sad) but get to see our Missy dog and friends and family again! It's been a wonderful 10 months! Aloha!

Maui or Bust!

We had a wonderful day on Maui Tuesday. Rob got $9 tickets, can you believe that? So we did a couple day trips. One to Kauai last week and this one to Maui. We flew out at 6 a.m. and back about 8:30 p.m. We took "the road to Hana" trip. It's 52 miles of the most winding road you have ever seen! Every other curve is a one-lane bridge, so you have to yeild to oncoming cars. It's a slow go, but the most beautiful scenery you've ever seen, as you can see from the pictures. The black sand beach at Hana Bay was awesome too. We thought we might get dirty from the black sand, but it's just regular sand and washes right off - weird. We're heading back home in a week, so we are trying to enjoy ourselves as much as we can before the rain starts. I will miss the weather here most of all.

Beautiful Lake Powell

We had a wonderful time at Powell again this year, even though we didn't have Kristen, Landen, Sophie or Kyle with us. But there is always next year! We keep wondering how long we will keep going to Powell and we've come to the conclusion . . . until we physically can't!! It's just too much fun. We even left beautiful Hawaii behind to go to the desert of the southwest. Does that tell you how much we love Lake Powell?
